Finally after 20 years there’s a brand new Trio Koko album release coming up. Now we present you ‘Esplanada Way 797’ as a second digital single for the upcoming ‘Taruko Part I’ album. It’s a taster for the upcoming album ‘Taruko I‘, which will hit the streets on December 3rd 2021. The single is of course available on all streaming platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, Bandcamp, Instagram, Facebook, Deezer, Tidal and others but also here as a download.
Over the past 20 years the Koko’s have been extremely busy with all kinds of different musical projects, but when the pandemic struck early 2020, they finally found some time to finish and come up with some brand new Trio Koko tracks. On ‘Taruko’ the band again dives into a whirlpool of instrumental music. The bands mission didn’t change over the years: Roots ‘n bluesy exotic surfy space stuff on bass, drums, guitars and an occasional (crappy) organ. That, in a nutshell is what the Dutch band Trio Koko is still about.
