Description
On the A side Diesler joins forces with Ton Van Der Kolk (AIFF bass player), who contributes a slapped / funky bassline to a club mix of the track, a great Afro-disco fusion that simply gets into a groove and stays there. Singer Laura Vane adds vocals, o and there’s an instrumental version of Akwaaba too.
The B side “Afro Riddim” opens with some seriously smokers reggae sounds before upping the tempo for a bit of Afro-house featuring JAH vocals from Crucial T. Lastly, “Akwaaba” comes with a second Diesler treatment, more rough and ready, with a similar feel to the original, but with the addition of Ms Vanes vocals.
